Pripyat Park: A History of Silence
In 1986 the former Soviet Union had plans to open its doors to The Pripyat Amusement Park in modern day Ukraine. However, plans were abruptly cancelled when in April 86' the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster caused residents of Pripyat, Ukraine to evacuate the town due to radioactive nuclear fallout.
Pripyat Park never got to rise to its full potential and has since been abandoned and left in silence.
Our collections tend to sell out fast, so be ready 🙏
'Silenced' is our avenue used to display the power silence has on the world. We see silence broken down into two critical zones. One being silence as a form of power and the other being silence as a form of growth through reflection. If you were to imagine a pendulum that swings back and forth between these two realms of 'power' and 'reflection'; our design process is the bob on the pendulum shifting new interpretations of 'Silence' between these zones. Ultimately, the goal is to create aesthetic streetwear from which our supporters can feel comfortable wearing both in their moments of victory and their moments of reflection.
